Introduction

Almost everybody today is ready to travel to another side of the world to visit a new country, explore a new culture or may be just to escape from the daily concerns. Whatever the reason one has, it gives us the chance to discover different viewpoints to the life, to know new people and different traditions. All that we need for that is just the openness to the unknown.

We invite you to truly experience the environment we are exploring, to have a look not just from a perspective of a photo camera, but also to taste the tradition itself which has formed the country and its people as they are today. The purpose of our tours is to have more a traveling rather than a tourism experience.

Peru Tradition Explorer (21 day)

This tour is dedicated for travellers and seekers interested in the ancient history and also willing to open themselves to a direct mystical experience and inner healing. The tour combines the exploration of natural and historical heritage (natural reserves and archaeological sites) with the rituals and ceremonies of native traditions.

The Peru Tradition Explorer tour consists of two smaller parts - the Ayahuasca Workshop and the Andean Explorer.

Ayahuasca Workshop in the Amazon (8 days *)

The tour begins with the brief visit to the capital Lima *. Here we can recover after a long flight and have a walk in the beautiful centre near the Pacific coast. Later, in the Museum of Archaeology, we’ll be introduced to the Peruvian history.

On the 3rd day the trip will continue with the exploration of the Amazon jungle, making our stay for the following week a magnificent and quiet jungle lodge Corto Maltes Amazonia. At this picturesque site, located on the banks of the Madre de Dos river, surrounded with the sounds and scents of the rainforest, the travellers will participate in the therapeutic Workshop with the use of the Amazon's master teacher medicine, the sacred vine - Ayahuasca. Also, during the week, we will do various tours of jungle’s wildlife exploration accompanied by the local guides from the lodge.

* When participated in the Workshop alone, the tours in Lima are an option. Without visiting Lima, the Workshop has the length of 7 days.

Andean Explorer (14 days)

The second part of the tour continues in the Andean region Cusco which is the land of the last pre-Colombian civilization in the South America – the mighty Inca empire. Next 9 day we’ll be staying in the little town called Pisac located in the Sacred Valley of the Inca (sp. El Valle Sagrado), located just 35km from Cusco, the capital of the region and also the ancient political and economical centre of the Inca.

During our stay we’ll have many different excursions to the Inca’s historic monuments like the salt mines of Maras, the vortexes of Moray, the fortress of Saqsayhuaman, the thermal springs of Lares. We’ll also visit the highland village Chawaytiri whose inhabitants still live by the principles of the Inca's society called Ayllu and they also are famous for their originally fascinating textile’s and handicraft's art.

Definitely, no trip to Peru would be complete without visiting the lost city of the Incas, the sanctuary and the spiritual centre - Machu Picchu, recently crowned as one of the 7 new world’s wonders.

Besides the local tours there will be organized two Ayahuasca ceremonies and other rituals of the Andean tradition, like “Despacho” ceremony.

The final exploration of Peru will be done on the high mountain site 150km from Lima. There we'll visit the place with a trail of mysteries and witnessed phenomena, a natural park of Marca Wasi (Marca Huasi). It is still little known and attracts the travelers by it’s magnetic tranquility and fabulous views. Located on the altitude of 4050m it uncovers the sight of the rocky highland plateau filled with hundreds of zoomorphic and anthropomorphic stone figures, valleys and lakes, including its central object – the Monument of Humanity (this site is not visited on every trip).
