At a peaceful site located in the Sacred Valley, we are hosting a shamanic retreat honoring the principal master teacher plants of Peru – Ayahuasca and San Pedro or Wachuma. The 9 days are dedicated to the insights and teachings received from the sacred plant experiences, and, in turn, learning uniquely adapted meditation techniques and other practices for integrating these teachings.

Ayahuasca and San Pedro Retreat in Sacred Valley

Description

Throughout the retreat we hold 3 shamanic ceremonies – 2 Ayahuasca and 1 San Pedro (Wachuma) experience, for seeing deep into one’s life, the unconscious, get the understanding of ways for inner harmony. In the light of the Ayahuasca and San Pedro plant guidance, the participant can become more acquainted with the mindfulness practices offered throughout the retreat, having the possibility to apply them within one’s daily life.

The retreat consists of individual and group activities, all of which are introduced to participants during group gatherings. Throughout the retreat, each participant has full support for the work with individual processes, receiving personalized attention. Group and individual activities include the traditional shamanic ceremonies with Ayahuasca, San Pedro and Despacho, the guided meditation, Yoga, Pranayama (awareness in breathing), deep listening, “non-doing” and free time.

A deep connection with the sacred medicine and the personal healing is supported by the skillful fusion of traditional and conventional methods, the presence of a shaman-healer from the Andean native tradition, and by the surroundings of clean Andean environment. To ensure the highest degree of individual attention to the sacred plant experience, the retreat has not too much activities outside the retreat’s host site. However, in order to connect fully to the native tradition and it’s respected surroundings, two sites (Pisac ruins and Moray terraces) will be visited under the guidance of the Andean shaman-healer.

During 9 days of the retreat, participants are introduced to simple yet effective methods for physical and mental cleansing, transforming the emotional traumas and negative mind patterns, resolving difficult relationships, cultivate the mindfulness and attain more personal and spiritual integrity.

The retreat includes both, the experiences with the teacher plant ceremonies and the excursions to the historic sites.
